Charity Let us start with the concept of charity itself. We are told that is something good since childhood. We need to help others, it is a humanitarian act. Especially, religion spread this practice. We are evincing kindness and serve out god like that. We help people in need, because that’s what people are supposed to do. There are some critics to that point of view. Zizek said: When, confronted with the starving child, we are told: "For the price of a couple of cappuccinos, you can save her life!", the true message is: "For the price of a couple of cappuccinos, you can continue in your ignorant and pleasurable life, not only not feeling any guilt, but even feeling good for having participated in the struggle against suffering!" — Slavoj Žižek (2010). Living in the End Times. Verso. p. 117. Now we can see two totally different opinions on that problem, so we can try to look at Chechovs Koshmar and see where on that scale he places charity.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
