You should be able to provide a 2-3 sentence description from memory of the following terms: corpus callosum amygdala cortical maps delta waves circadian rhythm suprachiasmatic nucleus II. You should be able to write a 1-page essay from memory for each of these study questions. 1. Describe the distinction between the central and peripheral nervous systems. Within the peripheral nervous system, describe the distinction between skeletal and autonomic systems and between the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems. 2. Draw a crude picture of the medial surface of the brain. Identify the pons, medulla, cerebellum, thalamus, hypothalamus, corpus callosum, and cerebral cortex. In addition, briefly describe a function for each of these structures. 3. Draw a crude picture of the four major lobes
