The ruling will affect her family because it causing them to split up, like Antigone wants to bury her brother, but Ismene wants to follow the government. ° ° 2. What purpose might she have for this reminder? ° She brings up her father, and tries to convince her not follow the same path and repeat history. ° ° 3. Key Ideas and Details: The conflict between Antigone and Ismene becomes clearly stated in lines 92–98.
