Map Skills: World Geography, Europe WWI: Triple Alliance, Triple Entente TimeLine: Organizing Thoughts, Mind to Paper TimeLine: Oganizing Events in Cronalogical Order TimeLine: Determining Key Events WWI: Key Events, 1914-1918 Word Square: Building Vocabulary WWI: Key Terms, 1914-1918 Written directions provided for your students: WWI Maps: Label: the Mediterranean Sea, North Sea, Black Sea, and Baltic Sea. Label: the Atlantic Ocean and the English Channel. Using colored pencils, put a large dot on the draft map to mark the color and on the final color the water blue. Label: Portugal, Spain, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Switzerland (Switz), Germany, Austria-Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ottoman Empire, Norway, Sweden, and Russia. Make sure that theseare in order and the then have your organizer checked off. 2. Prepare your timline poster using a second andvanced organizer vertically (up and down) or horizontally (side to side) attach your events, using colored pencils draw and color a picture to go with the event or print a picture out. ----*WWI TimeLine Draft is Due Wednesday XX/XX/!!!! of week 2 and completed TimeLine is Due the following Monday XX/XX/!!!!---
3 EDUC 606 LEARNING ACTIVITY 2 WWI Word Squares: The WWI terms “Trench Warfare”, “U-boats”, “Zeppelin”, and “Propaganda” will each have their own four square Word Square. Each Word Square will include the term in the top left square, the meaning in the bottom left square, a picture or drawing in the top right square, and the use of or a fact about the term in the bottom right square. The squares should be creative and colorful. ---All 4 WWI Word Squares are Due the Monday following week 3 XX/XX/!!!! Categories and specific items students are to include in their portfolio: WWI Maps: 2 maps 1. A rough draft map that has been labeled with the countries, seas, oceans, and has been marked with the correct color that the land and water is to be colored that has been checked by Ms. Collie or an approved associate. 2. A completed map labeled and colored, free of corrections.
