ADVERTISING ANALYSIS 3 ADVERTISING ANALYSIS Target Market By analyzing and understanding the magazine advertisement, one can conclude that the target audience is mid-centric tourists between the ages of 21-45. The advertisement is able to reach a wide range of tourists because mid-centric tourists are the largest of the psychographic dimensions. Because mid-centric tourists have a mix of allocentric and psychocentric characteristics, the advertisement tries to show a wide range of activities to do while in Puerto Rico. Mountain biking, hiking, golfing, and surfing are just few of the wide variety of sports that the advertisement is trying to show the mid-centric reader. Not only does the advertisement reach a target market, but it also utilizes the 4 P’s of tourism.
