Gary Lam Anthropology 2AC 2251 College Lab: Part II The property at 2251 College Avenue seems to have been built between 1860 and 1876. The lowest level, level VI, looks like the ground used to build the initial brick wall on. We are given diagnostic artifact data from each of the levels and a bottle neck was found, dated 1860-1920. Using Terminus Post Quem, the earliest the structure could have been built is 1860. According to the date, the latest it could have been built is 1920, however we have a picture of the 2251 property from 1876 including men sitting around on the porch. So the property could have been built on in 1860 and there was just a picture taken from a gathering in 1876 or the picture showed men celebrating the `completion of the building or any date in between. Although we know it was built in 1876 at the latest, we aren’t sure how it was used during that time period. However, we have a picture showing Greek letters on the doorway, indicating it was used by fraternities or sororities in 1908 and again in 1940.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
