When deciding whether to include your citation in text or in parentheses- determinewhether it’s the author of the study (in text citation) or the findings of the researcher’s work (parenthetical citation) that is more important. Indicate what the ANOVA was used for: To examine differences in color naming times among the conditions. Remember, the key advantage of the within subjects design is that we are comparingparticipants to themselves. Therefore, the fact that some students completed the experiment in the classroom and others completed it in the private rooms is not much of a limitation. It would really only matter if we were comparing participants with one another (Between subjects), or if participants completed one condition in the classroom and then another in the private room. To eliminate the outer lines around the figures, make the background clear, instead of white. There are no actors in our experiments- no one is acting. There are experimenters and participants. Students perform both roles, but are not acting.
