Week Two Discussion A research design that attempts to determine if political affiliation have an impact on an individual’s ability to confidently feel informed on current events, and if a particular political identity is more or less likely to be able to distinguish factually informed news from fasle or fake news. In considering a research design, the track: Environmental Influences on Personality and the topic: Culture, need to be defined. This can be done by collecting LOTS data (Cervone and Pervin 2019) on individuals and populations. Additionally, it is important to find reliable news sources to compare a perceived sense of being informed of current events against reality.
