Zunerilys Hernandez SOC-220 July 28, 2019 Mary Carlisle Child Abuse Children are affected daily due to the lack of resources and a system that is not educated enough on their well-being. Child abuse is something that many children globally fight through every single day. Those who commit to child abuse are Family members, Guardians, parents, and or caregivers. Child abuse is impacted by social phenomenon, theoretical perspectives, and solutions. Per research one learns that in social inequality the parent and or caregiver lacks problem solving skills, parenting skills and techniques. Effecting the child connection with the parent, causing the child to have unhealthy relationships in the future, and developing mental illness due to the traumatic event/s. Social isolation, domestic partner violence, child behavioral problems, and poor child-parent attachment pay a huge part in the cause for abuse. The caretaker may have suffered child abuse themselves resulting in a cycle of patterns (micro level). In a macro level the child may develop anger causing them to participate in crimes/ dangerous activities. Poverty and violent communities are a cause as well. The cycle may continue for that abused child causing a never-ending social problem in society. In social deviance the child has no control when being abused.
