This is a large, complex services acquisit ion that is still in the requirements development stage. Claudia is still learning the complexit ies of the defense acquisit ion process, specifically contracting. Therefore, I have set up a seri es of meetings and d iscussions with AIPT nnembers, stak eholders, and subj ect matter experts ( SMEs) to help p repare her to assist with developing a r1obust Acquisit ion Plan for the upcoming acquisition. The key to building a successful acquisit ion resides largely in t lhe pre-a war d, acquisiti on planning stage. You will accompany Claudia as she meets with a var iety of the agency's key stakeholders during this stage.
