ABSTRACTFarm mechanization embraces use of tools and machinery for agricultural development. Dairyfarming is a class for agriculture for long term production of milk,which is processed either atthe farm or at dairy plant for eventual sale of dairy product. The objective of this study isquantitatively assess the impact of farm mechanization on dairy enterprise on output. Farmmechanization is very important if farmer have to get maximum returns from their dairyenterprises. However not all farmers will adopt farm mechanization due to different issues. Someare not aware of mechanization, others cannot afford these machines and others do not know theimportance of farm mechanization. Farm mechanization is well developing as technologychanges. However mechanization is slowly developing in third world countries mainly becauseof economic constraints hence not many can afford to buy some of this machinery unlike thealready developed countries. Data collection will be by use of open ended questionnaires andinterviews to both farmers and animal production officers.
