Despite the high hazard for negative posttraumatic results, numerous boundaries exist to providing students with the vitaltreatment to address the traumatic stress symptomatology that may emerge from these encounters. Kristen was a student who attended Virginia Tech where 33 students and faculty members, including the gunman (a Virginia Tech student), were lethally shot. Kristen looked for treatment for the first time after the shootings happened. Even though Kristen had apparently was not going to go to class that day, she had a premonition she should be in class. She identified4/16 as being the most traumatic event she had ever experienced. she showed that notwithstanding getting shot multiple times and as yet being alive, knowing a considerable lot of the perished people, the sheer number of individuals killed and her trouble understanding the purpose behind their demises made the experience especially traumatic.
