This document is a resource for Course C158 - Organizational Leadership and Interprofessional Team Development C158- 21 Steps to Success Steps to Success Concept Application & Frequently Asked Questions Step 1 In the Introduction Section of the Study Plan, watch the Welcome video. Review the Competencies for the course . Review the Nursing Dispositions Statement , linked in the Introduction section of the course material. Look through the Study Plan, especially the Learning Resources ” listed under the section entitled “Preparing for Success”. This course requires a Performance Assessment. Review the resources in the Course Tips so you are familiar with what is available to you. Print/Download and Save 21 Steps to Success. Rubric Task Instructions Q: What is the purpose of this course? A: This graduate-level course builds on baccalaureate-level leadership knowledge to develop application skills in complex healthcare environments with diverse teams. Knowledge, skills, and abilities related to creating cultures of safety and leading quality improvement are key parts of this course and of contemporary leadership. Most importantly, you will develop and establish your role in leadership within your organization, a central theme in the course. Q: How can my Course Instructor (CI) assist me? A: Each CI is a content expert available to help you succeed in this course. Your CI will help you understand the course content and application of course concepts. The CI will help interpret the assessment directions, rubric criteria, and evaluator instructional comments. Q: How do I use the eBook? A: For this course, you will have links to the required reading in the eBook. Remember to note the numbers of the pages you need to read or you could get carried away! Q: How do I find the rubric and task instructions? A: Use the assessment tab and choose view task to get to the Task Overview (rubric and requirements), the Submissions area (where you submit your paper), and the Score Reports (results after your paper is evaluated). Step 2 Be sure to enroll in and attend the Live Cohort . Click on the Explore Cohort Offerings section of the Study Plan to enroll in available offerings.
