Intelligence and Aging in Adult Learning The extensive concept of learning in human beings is a continuous process throughout life but what varies is how much gets to be learned and the use of the same knowledge in relating with others. Nonetheless, learning in adults varies from person to person depending on various attitudes such as genetic longevity and habitual tendencies which conceptualize into the concept of intelligence. Matters intelligence revolve around expression of how smart an individual is regarded with refection of matters such as grasping how many languages one can grasp or formulating easy ways by which they can get out of given situations. In existence, are various theories that describe intelligence with respect to various forms of intelligence. Attention under this case, will be dedicated towards analysis of two kinds if intelligence, fluid and crystallized intelligence. The former has connections tied around having the ability of finding solutions to new problems, the use of logic under different situations through the simple means of patterns identity. Case in point is the use of a complicated subway in a town, there is the need for mastery of stops and knowing the exact trains to take at specific locations[ CITATION Coh12 \l 1033 ]. It is important to note, under fluid intelligence, is the use of knowledge differently in the event that one gets to face a specific situation thus the ideal of the whole field being flexible as well as adaptive to a given circumstance. Crystallized information on the other hand is all about the ability to tap into one’s knowledge reserve and experiences to handle various situations. Knowledge acquisition in schools is best described as crystallized knowledge enhancement. As people get older, this two types of intelligence gave varied patterns of change when it comes to educational psychology. Intelligence and Age Overtime, the level of crystallized intelligence of an individual gets to grow as they become older since one gets to learn more facts and concepts as time goes by. The ideals are stored in one’s head and continuously increase as one ages. Over the one’s lifespan, concepts of both crystallized and fluid intelligence are considered as having a great influence on describing patterns of cognitive change. Considering that crystallized intelligence is responsible for the accumulation of information through life experiences, older adults have the capability of outshining their junior counterparts when it comes to scenarios requiring the application of such knowledge. Fluid intelligence relatively is attached to the prospect of problem-solving to situations that one has limited familiarity and have no connections to a person’s knowledge capacity.
