Activities
In my four years of high school, I have taken part in multiple organizations and clubs
such as the National Honors Society and the Principal’s Council. I have also volunteered at an
assisted living/memory care facility and done yard work around the city of Greensboro for the
elderly for free. Two activities rise significantly above the rest when it comes to dedicated time,
though: Soccer and YoungLife.
I would not be where I am as a person today without YoungLife. I have been deeply
involved with YoungLife since the sixth grade, and my love for the organization has only grown
since my exposure. I attend YoungLife club every Monday night and campaigners every
Thursday morning. Club is where all the grades get together to sing, dance, and worship together,
and campaigners is for each of the grades to meet up individually and dive a little deeper into the
Word of Jesus. I have gone to YoungLife summer camps across the country since I was eleven,
and each experience was better than the last. These past two years, I have given up a month of
