Page 147 (15, a-d; 18, a-d) 15b) Modem: In order to use a modem, I would first need to establish which type of connection device I would like to use in order to connect to the internet. I would then have to either get additional telephone lines installed, or have a cable company hook me up to the internet. In order to have a cable company install the system, I would have to decide on a specific company and then have them create 7 different ports, or a router of some sort in order to accommodate all of my employees. LAN: In order to utilize a local area network within my small business, I would first need to purchase a switch that would serve as the centralized point among all of my company’s computers. I would then need to physically connect each unit by cable either personally, or hire someone to do it. Additionally, I could choose to use a wireless hookup, in which case, I would need even more additional help. Either way, I would need to hire an expert in order to come and set up the connectivity through the switch, as well as the security
