Case Study2believed that there was not a strategy for investment that would be able to meet the needs of all their customers, which basically the approach to investment was “a one size fits all approach” forcustomers that there was confusion on how to invest for their own specific need (Case Study – Union Investment – Precision-targeted Marketing, 2016). Union Investment utilized many different stakeholders to fix the business problem that was encountered. By definition stakeholder is defined as a group, a person, or an organization that is involved or affected by a course of action by another organization ("Definition of STAKEHOLDER," n.d.). Union Investment used many stakeholders such as IBM in which they used their statistics software when they needed a platform for in-depth analysis for behavior of their customers. SPSS Lab Services was used by Union Investment for their consulting expertise and technical support which proved to be vital for the improvements needed to be made. Another valuable resource that SPSS Lab Services provided to Union Investment was training for their workers so that they knew what to do without consulting the IT team if issues arise that needed to be taken care of. Also, Stakeholders were the customers that believed in the company to trust their product (Case Study – Union Investment – Precision-targeted Marketing, 2016).The stakeholders within the case study proved to be very important and beneficial to the success of Union Investment for instance IBM’s software for business analytics gives organizations the ability to have predictive analytics, business intelligence and performance management amongst other key features all in one data driven software suite(Case Study – Union Investment – Precision-targeted Marketing, 2016).
