We divided the work by section and did our research, at the end of our research we gathered our information to complete our paper. In this research paper you will be reading about the biographyof Abraham Lincoln, what were his accomplishments, and how did his actions impact the world also where you can find this information about President Abraham Lincoln. You are expected to learn more about president Abraham Lincoln. From the day he came to this world to the day he left and rest in peace. Lincoln was a true hero to multiple people, and this is the reason why people remember him.
ABRAHAM LINCOLNPage 4BiographyAbraham Lincoln February 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865. Lincoln was born in Hodgenville, KY inside a one-room log cabin in Hardin County, Kentucky; his family moved to southern Indiana in 1816. Lincoln’s formal schooling was limited to three brief periods in local schools, ashe had to work constantly to support his family. Abraham Lincoln was a child of Thomas Lincolnand Nancy Hanks Lincoln. His Father was very known in the community and well respected. Thecouple had two more children who died in their infant lives. When Lincoln was nine years old, his mother died from a sickness called Tremetol (a milk sickness) at age 34, on October 5, 1818. Abraham had it tough growing up with his dad because he was alienated and worked hard at an early age. In December 1819, Lincolns’ father married a woman by the name of “Sara Bush Johnston whom Lincoln rapidly bonded with, a Kentucky widow with 3 kids of her own was the step-mother of Abraham Lincoln. The Lincolns were forced to move from Lincoln’s birthplace Kentucky to Perry Country. They moved due to a land dispute in 1817. In Indiana the family bunched up in a house, which they had to live by hunting and farming. Abraham Lincoln, a self-taught lawyer, legislator and vocal opponent of slavery, was elected 16th president of the United States in November 1861 (until his assassination in April 1865), shortly before the outbreak of the Civil War.
