To outline the necessary steps taken to ensure the continued safety of the work environment for all students, staff and others participating in any activities within the premises or under the employment of Grow Management Consultants. All employees, as well as Grow Management Consultants, are responsible for ensuring a healthy and safe workplace.DefinitionsAhazardis any potentially dangerous situation within the work environment.Incidentmeans an event or circumstance that leads – or could have led - to unintended orunnecessary harm during a person’s participation in work with Grow Management Consultants. An injuryis any incident that causes harm to a person during their participation in work activities with Grow Management Consultants.WHS communication and consultationmeans sharing information, giving workers a reasonable opportunity to express views, and taking those views into account before making decisions on health and safety matters.Duty Holder – refers to any person who owes a work health and safety duty under the WHS Act including a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU), designer, manufacturer, importer, supplier, installer of products or plant used at work (upstream duty holders), an officer and workers. More than one person can concurrently have the same duty in which case the duty is shared.
