Developmental Profile Paper2The stages of developmental process of a child that is maturing threw life is a big deal.We all go through this stage in our early to middle childhood and it affects us all in thedevelopmental areas such as physical, brain development, social and emotional changes. Otherthings that might affect the outcome of our development is through interactions with peers andtheir environment.Physical DevelopmentOne of the biggest changes we have from early to middle childhood is in the area ofphysical development. Over course we change in size a lot of over the years since we wereborn;the average baby weighs between 6-8 pounds and 20 inches.When children turn 9 years old we are around 60 pounds and 50 inches which is tripledin size. Another change that happens around the age five is they will start to lose baby teeth andby the age of 13 they have lost all baby teeth and have all their adult teeth.Other physical development comes from genetics from their family and nutrition that theeat because they go from eating about 700 calories a day to around 1200 -1800 calories a day.Females eat less calories than males by about 200 calories a day in order to maintain energy leveland normal daily activities.As they grow they develop muscle mass which is for exercise andplay its visually noticeable that males have larger structure compared to females during earlier
