Battleship Potemkin was a fairly recent battleship of the Black Sea fleet with a crew of 800 who
happened to experience the very harsh circumstances and brutal punishments that took place onboard. The film Battleship Potemkin presents us with a dramatized version of the munity that took place. The mutiny of the battleship took place after yet again being served contaminated, rotten meat. From the film, we see that in the morning, the ship’s cook has hung up large pieces of meat. Sailors of the ship assemble togethers to look, point and analyze their expected dinner. An officer notices the activities developing and the sailors express how the meat is not in its best condition. As the maggots’ crawl through the meat, it is
