BATTLE OF EL ALAMIEN (1942)

This battle was fought in the North Africa. It was between the Allied forces and
the Axis forces.
This battle occurred on the 23rd June 1942 till 4th November 1942.
This
is the turning point for the World War I.
The battlefield stretched as long as 400 miles
from the Derna in the east and the El Alamien in the west.

The Britain had put interest in the Mediterranean.
They regarded the
Mediterranean as a source of power for their empire and their objective was to secure
control of the sea and air, and if possible the North Africa as a whole. The German
suddenly realized the dangerous of this scenario that the North Africa might be under the
control of the Allies, if something is not done the Britain will eventually gain control of
the entire Mediterranean.

The war in 1939 had caused Europe to give succumb to the German power.
The
