Overall the results showed an increase in the participant’s performance of the physical activities (exercises) independently across all phases. They also all showed an increase in independence between their baseline and intervention phases (Bassette, Kulwicki, Dieringer, Zoder-Martell and Heneisen, 2018, p. 364-365). Tess displayed an average of 54.2% of the steps in each exercise independently during her baseline phase. She met mastery criterion for each of herthree exercises in 45 sessions. During phase 1, she completed an average of 97.1%of the steps, 98.5% average for phase 2, and 99.8% average for the third phase.
