PSY 2470 Activity 5 – A Class Divided (Do not type your name, course number and name, etc. Canvas stores your file under your name) Watch the film A Class Divided. Then answer the following questions using the space below:1.General reaction: What did you learn from this film? What scene had the most impact on you? This film taught me a lot about how young minds are shaped when they are able to experience the discrimination first hand. I really liked the way that Ms. Elliot divided the class both ways so that each color of eyes could experience what it is like to be discriminated against for a physical characteristic. I think the scene that hit me the hardest was when Ms. Elliot had them come back and review how the lesson had impacted the rest of their lives and how they viewed people who were different than them. It was really heart-warming to see that the children grew up with a better understanding that everyone is a person who should be treated the same as you and deserves respect. It made me reflect on how I want to raise my future children to understand the world around them.
