RESEARCH: HOW HEALTH CARE ADVANCED The quality of care has drastically transformed over the years, as well as the meaning of the quality of care of patients. The quality of care can be translated as, “achieving the greatest benefit at the lowest risk.” There are properties that report this goal and these achievements, and they will be deliberated and discussed in the following text. Also, implicit and explicit criteria for healthcare are essential, and this text will report the principle useful in the quality of care. Quality of Medical Care There is a lot to be said when it comes to the extent of quality care in the healthcare world such as providing patient safety, imparting a proper teaching and care plan, and having a culturally competent environment to make patients feel more comfortable during their treatment. Delivering patient-centered care is an important component of a high-quality health care system. The importance of patient experience is a key quality metric” ( Tsai, Orav, & Jha, 2015). There are many enhanced technologies that are being used in current practice as well as many modifications in the healthcare system to improve the quality of care. All these advancements, enhancements, and modifications have been provided to the patients in efforts to change the perception of doctors. While the theory has always been the “doctor knows best” regarding a patient’s health, times have changed where the patient “is always right” as health care is becoming more and more of a business and patient satisfaction being held in high regard. It is imperative that doctors must be up to date with most current techniques used in prevention and treatment to provide the best services to the patient. Though it is our duty to see everything from the patient’s perspective, but only those which are serious and right, we should always provide the most efficient professional care to the patients at all times. One of the reasons for low quality care is poor resource supply or improper utilization 2
