Professionalism among the employees can be enhanced through; competency where employees become reliable by standing up to tough circumstances; integrity by being trustworthy, doing what is right and keeping promises; self- accountability and regulation where employees become accountable to themselves for their actions and projects they work for (Bruce & Ahmed, 2014). Therefore, this paper is a research proposal that looks at the role of professionalism among the employees in enhancing the productivity of Non-Governmental Organizations.
