A week after being selected I met my “match,” Montoya Sanders. Montoya comes from a completely different background then I do and is faced with challenges I couldn’t even dream of. He was born with a deformed right hand, has an unstable family, has never met his father,

Despite our differences we have many similarities and enjoy are able to enjoy our time together. Having Montoya as a little brother has allowed me to understand a lifestyle different then my own and erase many stereotypes I previously had about people in extreme poverty....
