Durkheim’s Theories of SuicideEmile Durkheim was a very famous sociologist based in France and is the authorof a publication namedSuicide. He first started this subject of study when he noticedthat there was a difference in suicide rates between Protestants and Catholics thereforeestablishing that religion has an impact on the rate of suicide.
