INTRODUCTION How would you feel if you were an eleven year old boy…. nobody knows who your dad is… your mom has been jail most of your life You just got released from your third foster home-- the foster parents beat you And guess where you’re going? To live with your crack addict mom who just got out of jail? Today I am going to talk about three topics: BIG Brothers/Big Sisters , an organization dedicated to helping underprivileged kids my eleven year old “little brother ,” Trey, (the boy I was talking about) and the evil effects of drugs and alcohol on him and other children
