The critical evaluation of the contribution of current marketing management theory and practice 3 Executive summary Natural balance Foods Company is a firm that has taken the responsibility of producing organic and healthy snacks to its customers. To deal with competition, the company has undertaken market concept as one of the strategies used in its marketing. The second strategy is market orientation whereby the company has delved in production of two commodities that fit the wants of its customers. In addition, the company follows a holistic competitive strategy that allows the marketing of the products to be done by all parties affiliated to the firm. It is important to note that these strategies allow indirect marketing for the goods. A new product that the company is keen on producing is natural and organic yoghurt that does not have artificial additives. The product is aimed at being sold in the United Kingdom and the marketing strategies to be utilized will be pricing, differentiation and holistic approach. Introduction Natural Balance Foods are a young company that is dealing with production of foods and snacks that are healthy and nutritious. The company has ventured into the production of different snacks that are of nutritional value as they do not have artificial components. The products are appealing especially to women and children who are willing to change their lifestyles through consumption of healthy foods. To reach the target market the company has embraced the idea of utilizing the available marketing philosophies and concepts thus increasing its performance (Kotler et al., 2016). Marketing is an activity undertaken by businesses to ensure that the products and services they offer are made public hence making sales out of the purchases made by their customers.
