Tad Tinker MKTG 310-01 Dr. Davari 5/17/18 Class discussion (EC) 1. Sears serves offers a broad assortment of products for people of all ages. But primarily I would say the target market for Sears is 25-35. Simply because this age group is typically employed and ultimately more likely to have disposable income. Generally most people that fall within this age category have kids and sears offers merchandise that pertain to children themselves or childcare. 2. The current brand positioning of Sears in my opinion would have to be somewhat of a “problem solver.” Since Sears has such a wide range of products many customers can find most of what they’re looking for. They have nearly everything from snow blowers to children’s toys. Although they may not be a super store like Walmart they still carry a variety of items that an average customer could find a solution to their problem.
