The management, technology and organizational issues that are present when utilizing social media in order to engage with customers are that many individuals may perceive the message that company is trying to convey in a negative manner. C., & Laudon, J.P pg.397). Another situation that triggered the rise of social media backlash is when Starbucks introduced their “Race Together” campaign (Laudon, K. C., & Laudon, J.P pg.397). When looking at organizational issues of social we can see that many companies rush into creating social media platforms for their; however, they seem to not display interactions on social media and with that said they seem to make little to no gains in sales by utilizing social media.
