North Carolina State University Department of Economics EC 205L-216: Fundamentals of Economics Lab Teaching Assistant: Christina Robinson Office: Nelson Hall Room 4145 Office Hours: Wednesday 2:30-3:30 pm, Thursday 9:30-11:30 am, or by appointment E-mail: [email protected] Class Description: This lab meets once a week and is the companion to Dr. Hyman’s EC 205 class. In lab we will discuss economic topics that are consistent with material covered during Dr. Hyman’s lectures. This part of the course is more “hands on”, and is your opportunity to ask questions about economic theory. Lab will be a combination of lecture and question and answer sessions. Lecture notes will be available on dot-learn prior to lab—these notes may not be complete, there may be blanks that you need to fill in, so you will want to pay attention to the entire lecture . Worksheets will also be available on dot-learn, and are strongly encouraged, as quiz questions are likely to be similar. Enrollment in an EC205 lab section is mandatory, and no course credit will be given to students who fail to enroll in a lab section. Attendance Policy: Although the decision to attend lab is yours to make, attendance is strongly encouraged, and roll will be taken at every meeting . Students who do not attend lab
