Aliaga 1 Esai Aliaga Langford 7 November 2019 ACC English Comp Annotated Bibliography The Vietnam War was not meant for America to be involved in, but because the U.S. fought in Vietnam, this southeast region of Asia has grown since the war and become a beautiful country while still being communist. This article goes through any lessons that the U.S. might have learned during the Vietnam War. Twenty years of warfare had to have taught us something . The article brings up topics like how the U.S. army learned how to represent themselves in the media, but it also brought up topics like how the U.S. fails to be at peace with other countries and continues to involve itself in situations that it doesn't need to be involved in. Though he talks about some lessons being learned, he emphasizes the fact that we’ve left many of those lessons in the past as if we never learned them. We pay no attention and forget what we have done. I assume he wrote the article on the forty-seventh anniversary to emphasize the idea that it is important to remember the Vietnam War, and think about what lessons can be learned, even this long after. I can use this source in my essay by bringing up, both, the historical pieces in my statistics and the lessons to backup my
