ORIGINS REFLECTION ESSAY 2 themselves how they believe that each of us got here . In this essay I will be reflecting on the origins of the universe on the basis of Genesis one and two, and will be studying how people's beliefs may affect the way that they live. My belief of the origin of the universe is derived from Genesis one and two, and throughout this essay I will be defending my view, relating it to the bible, and also revealing the impact that it has on my worldview. The bible clearly makes an account for the origin of the universe in the very first chapter. It begins with God setting into motion his plan for the world, by creating night and day, the sky, water, land, vegetation, the sun, moon, and stars, and living creatures. After God affirming that it was all good he created man in His own image and likeness, he created him to rule over creation. On the seventh day he rested from all the work that He had been doing, and blessed this day and made it holy. The lord gave strict instructions to Adam that he was to eat anything he wanted in the garden except from this particular tree, because if Adam ate from it, he would die. The Lord was still moving after that and realized that it was not good for man to be alone.
