Discuss the difference between a DNP and a PhD in nursing. Discuss which of these you would choose to pursue if you decide to continue your education to the doctoral level and explain whyBoth Ph.D. and DNP degrees are targeted to demonstrate the clinical experience of a nurse in her/his specialized fields and are considered as doctorate degrees for nurses. Even though the goal is the same, there are some major differences between both degrees. When it comes to DNP degree, it is more focused on the clinical practice of a nurse while Ph.D. is research focused on a specialized area.
