What is Ethics? Ethics is defined as a set of moral principles that govern the  conduct of a person or members of a profession. Hippocratic Oath – “First do no harm…” Nuremberg Trials – 1947  Nuremberg Code – a  set of research ethics principles for human  experimentation. H312 AIDS and STIs in a Modern Society:  A Global Perspective Informed consent - the voluntary consent of the  human subject. The experiment should be conducted as to avoid all  unnecessary physical and mental suffering and  injury to participants.
