Reasoning:This activity is a fun and tasty activity that almost children are familiar with solids, liquids, and gases, so using changing states of mater will allow the children to make observations, create a hypothesis, experiment, analysis data, and come to a conclusion. This activity is simple and fun. Activity:States of Matter in Hand1.Students will be given two popsicles one frozen and one melted. They will be asked “What they think melted means/” and “Which one is the melted popsicle?”. These questions gets the students to man an observation. 2.Next the children will be asked what they think will happen once they place the melted popsicle on the payment creating a hypothesis and recording it. 3.While melted popsicle is on the ground the children will be asked what will happen to the popsicle once it is in their mouth creating a hypothesis.
