Final Thoughts: Quotes I wanted only to try to live in accord with the promptings which came from my true self. Why was that so very difficult? -Hermann Hesse,  Demian

Final Thoughts: Why live an examined life? Knowledge is its own reward Understanding things can help you deal with  them But also, the life of illusion is its own  punishment Delusions are challenged regularly by the events  of the world This leads to disappointment, insecurity,  defensiveness, anger, selfishness…and new  delusions Yet most people live a life of falsehood and  illusion Living  in reality  overcomes prejudice, limits  conflict, reduces your pride, and leads to stronger  relationships

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
