Course Description: This course is an introduction to the development and understanding of political ideologies and political systems. The course will cover current trends in various political concepts such as nation states, Ethno-Nationalism as well as the religio-cultural impact on current political thought. The course deals with how we study socio-political phenomena such as political ideologies, state building and Nationalism, and forms of governance. One aim of the course is to develop an understanding of different political systems, their relationship to one another and to real world events. Upon completion of this course,
