COURSE OBJECTIVES : This course is designed to acquaint you with many standard concepts used to analyze governments and politics within the context of comparative politics. The sub-field of comparative politics usually refers to the study of the governments and politics of two or more countries or to the study of one country over time. In additions to concepts, this course will provide introductory-level information on the political systems of the United Kingdom (Britain), France, China, Russia, Mexico, and Nigeria. Upon completion of this course, you should be able to combine factual material with abstract concepts in a concise, logical analysis of the politics and government of
