Chris Euksuzian Comm. 300 Paper for Ch. 11 Negotiating Dialectics Dialectics occur in all kinds of relationships (family, friends, and lovers). A time that stuck in my head is the situation that I’m experiencing right now. I feel that I’m right now negotiating dialectics in my off and on again relationship with my girlfriend. We started to officially go out with each other a little bit before the middle of the summer. When we started to go out we couldn’t spend too much time together. We hung out almost everyday and enjoyed every minute we had with each other. Once I left to go to school we tried to make the relationship work. After of month being away, she finally decided we had to break up because of the distance and the stress. After this occurred we continued to talk as much as we have done in the past. She calls me and I call her. We both feel since we are each being neglected at this point that we need to still talk and communicate as much as we did before. Baxter and Montgomery talk about
