Case number 3 and Denial Letter to Important Customer    I. Plan A. Analyze the Situation 1. What is your general purpose?    Write a letter of denial to an important customer. 2. What is your specific purpose?    My purpose is to write a letter denying a debit to an important customers account  without insulting the customer. 3. Exactly what do you want your audience to think, feel or believe after receiving your  message?   After my audience reads my letter I do not want them to be angry and then take their  money out of the bank. I want them to understand why it cannot be done. 4. Who is your primary audience?    My primary audience is the customer that wants her account debited. 5. What is their background?    The background is a rich customer that has a lot of money in the bank. 6. How are its members different from one another?    Members are different from one another by being a manager in a restaurant, being a  server in the restaurant, being an Operations Officer, and being the customer 7. How are its members similar to one another?    The members are similar to one another by wanting to resolve a problem after the
