Jeffrey Cox October 16, 2008 One of the worst things in my diet that I regularly eat is soda. I feel my health would really be helped if I cut down on my calorie intake; soda is very high in calories. I need to start cutting back on the amount of soda I consume. I currently drink around fifteen sodas in a week and I plan on trying to cut that number down to zero. To accomplish this task I have created a plan that I hope will modify my behavior to not accept a single soda. First, my plan for accomplishing this task will use operant conditioning. I plan to try and go cold turkey on all the soda, not drink a single one after my planned start date. To reach this goal I will be using the method of punishment. Every time that I give in to temptation and drink a soda, I will force myself to jog around the block my house is on. The block my house is on loops about a mile and half around, I plan to jog around it every time I consume a soda for any reason. I will be sticking to a zero tolerance rule; any soda consumed no matter how small a sip warrants
