Reid Conklin-Personal Narrative Essay I believe that the diversity of America’s population is what has allowed America to become the strong country that it is today. America has created its political and social structures based on the collaboration of its diverse immigration over the years. American’s value their freedom because it is that which has encouraged people to become their own individuals. The acceptance of all ethnicities as being Americans recognizes the sacrifices that all immigrants made whether they were Asians or white Europeans. The ability to exercise freedoms as an American should not be determined by ethnicity since the American population was founded on the basis of diversity. American industry was constructed by these diverse individuals who migrated here and therefore should grant such individuals with equal opportunities.
