Duke University Fall 2008 MATH 108 — Sections 03 and 04 Ordinary and partial differential equations Professor: Benoit Charbonneau Office 108 Physics benoit@math.duke.edu 919-660-2844 Class webpage: Blackboard site. Textbook: Elementary differential equations and boundary value problems Office hours: Tu 11:30-12:30, Wed 1:30-2:30 and Wed 4:00-5:00. Occasionaly, I will cancel the Wed 4-5 office hour to attend a seminar. Otherwise, on office hours, I will be in my office and you have priority. Try to find me at other times and I will be happy to assist you if my schedule permits it. Assignments: Assignments are listed on a separate syllabus (that could potentially be modified in class). You should ideally complete each assignment on the day of the lecture. Every thursday, turn in the homework assignment corresponding to what was discussed in class the previous week. I am expecting that you work the exercices over the weekend and come see me before the due date with questions. Please, I beg you: staple
