Christie Strawser First Assignment 7/3/2008 Sociology has always been one of my favorite topics in school. I think it is mostly because I never studied it in high school, not even for a second. The first sociology class I took in college fascinated me to no end. I was thoroughly enthralled in the text and enjoyed my assignments. I think anyone who deals directly with our community or the public has professional experience in the area because so many different aspects of sociology affect us everyday. Understanding the culture we live in seems to come naturally because we are part of it, but when we dig deeper, we will realize that there are many “mini cultures” that differentiate us from one another. These mini cultures affect every aspect of out jobs from clients to coworkers. The only aspiration I have in sociology is to learn as much as I can about our cultures and the many ways it affects my life day to day. I really enjoy learning about it

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
