SummaryIn our lab, we simulated the rolling of dice by using a randomized number generator for four seperate die. Then, we collected data through calculating the sums of rolls and then calculating the means of said rolls. We also calculated variances through finding the standard deviation of our results and squaring them. We made a chart which ended up appearing like a bell curve due to the majority of die rolls falling in the median range. When finding the sum of the cells from L3 through L23 we found that the number totaled as 1996.7. We believe that the reason the number equaled 1996.7 was because it was within the middle range or most common range of the summation of die rolls.
