Adding and subtracting polynomials, and applying the distributive property. 7. Multiplying polynomials: FOIL, and binomial times trinomial 8. Factoring: common monomial factors, the difference of two squares, perfect square trinomials 9. Factoring trinomials of the form c bx ax + + 2 . 10. Solving quadratic equations by factoring. 11. Simplifying rational expressions (fractions) and finding their domain.
