Introduction: Social Media vs Traditional Media?•Social Media is a new from of digital media that differs from other more traditional forms of media in that it allows for true Convergence of various media formats. Video , Photos, Text and Graphics are all used in Social Media platforms unlike traditional media such as Television, Radio, and Print.•Social media is more interactive than traditional legacy media in that it allows us to receive and to give feedback instantaneously.
Thesis•The growth and widespread adoption of Social media is a reflection of society's need for greater communication and sharing of information. As it has grown Social Media has affected our culture in mostly positive ways but there is also criticism of it's negative impact on society as well.
